FAQ's
Here are some of our most frequently asked questions. Please feel free to contact us if you have a question that's not answered here.

Q: What color backdrops do you offer?
A: The Picture Perfect Home Studio backdrop™ kit comes with a white backdrop. You can purchase additional backdrops in black, blue and chroma key green (green screen) from our Online Store.

Q: How many people can I photograph using the Picture Perfect Home Studio™?
A: That depends on how close up you plan to take your photos. If you plan to include more than 5 people at a time you may need to frame just the head and shoulders in the pictures. Visit our Photo Gallery for real examples of photo shoots featuring various numbers of people.

Q: The Picture Perfect Home Studio  is smaller than the backdrops I see in photography studios. Will I still get good results?
A: Yes! The Picture Perfect Home Studio™ stand is flexible up to 7.5' tall and 6' wide so it's perfect for use at home where space may be more limited. It's also light-weight and portable so you can take it to photo shoots anywhere. At full size it's easy to take full length shots of 3-4 people at once.

Q: Do I need a special camera or special lighting equipment to use the Picture Perfect Home Studio?
A: The Picture Perfect Home Studio™ backdrop kit works great with any camera; you are only limited by your camera's functionality. You do not need special lighting equipment to get great results. Natural (daylight) creates the most flattering photos most of the time. Try setting up next to a large door or window. You can even try outdoors in your garage (with the door open) or on a covered patio. You may need to try a few different spots or times of day to get the results you like best. Visit our Getting Great Results page for more tips. And most of the pictures featured in our Photo Gallery were taken with natural light, no extra equipment.

Q: Can I wash the backdrop fabric?
A: Yes! That's one of the benefits of the Picture Perfect Home Studio™ backdrops. Wash on your machine's delicate setting and dry on low. Though the fabric is crease resistant, we recommend rolling, not folding into the carrying case to store.

Q: Do I need special skills or equipment to use Picture Perfect Home Studio products?
A: All you need is a basic camera and the ability to point-and-shoot to use Picture Perfect Home Studio™ products. Our backdrop kit comes with a "Getting Started" guide to help you get set up and figure out how to position your backdrop. It may take you a little trial and error to feel really confident and your skill will build the more you practice.
